Visiting Hours

Visits are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 9am-2:30pm. Visitors can enter the institution between 9am-10:30am and between 12:30pm – 1:30pm.

Directions

Bath Institution is located just east of the city of Bath, Ontario, approximately 25 kilometres west of Kingston, Ontario. To get to Kingston, take a bus or VIA Rail Transit and then take a taxi to the institution.

Visiting Details

You must go online to access the visitor application, which can be accessed here: https://www.canada.ca/en/correctional-service/services/you-csc/visits-communications/forms-visiting-inmate.html Fill out the application, a CPIC form and send those to the institution along with a photocopy of two pieces of government issued ID and two passport-style photos. Once your application has been accepted you can either call to book visits call or email gen-ont-bi-visitors@csc-scc.gc.ca. When calling to book a visit, call Monday-Friday and must book a visit 48 hours in advance. 48 in advance M-F inmate can bring in snacks from canteen

Security

All visitors must go through scanners and there are drug detector dogs.

Other Information

There are no vending machines currently and visitors are only allowed to enter with their ID. Incarcerated people can bring snacks from the canteen to share with visitors.
